Join us for the opening reception of photos from Ed Kashi’s “Too Hot To Work” this Friday, June 12.

In 2022, Ed and a team went on assignment for TIME Magazine to document the brutal impact of heat stress on migrant workers in Qatar ahead of the World Cup. Migrant laborers make up 94% of Qatar’s workforce, and thousands have tragically lost their lives to extreme heat over the last decade.
With global temperatures hitting record highs, the human cost of climate change is more relevant than ever.

Join us at the opening reception, where we’ll be screening 2022 World Cup matches to juxtapose the celebration of global entertainment with the harsh reality of the labor that built it.
