Mana Contemporary Chicago, in collaboration with Monira Foundation, invites the public to celebrate its landmark building and artistic community during Fall Open Studios, presented as part of the Chicago Architecture Center’s Open House Chicago.

Located in the Pilsen neighborhood, Mana Contemporary Chicago occupies a warehouse designed by noted Chicago architect George Nimmons. Across nine floors, the landmark building is now home to hundreds of artists’ studios and exhibition spaces, creating an experience that differs from a conventional museum: visitors move through industrial corridors and working spaces, encountering artists and their practices along the way.

During Fall Open Studios, visitors will have a rare opportunity to explore Mana Contemporary from the inside out, with more than 80 artists opening their studios to the public. The free event will also feature Mana Highlights, 5th Floor Gallery’s Exhibition from their permanent collection, and a special film program presented by Pentimenti Productions.

Whether you’re a collector, curator, fellow artist, architect, or simply an art lover, Fall Open Studios offers an opportunity to experience the artists, exhibitions, and architecture that make Mana Contemporary a distinctive part of Chicago’s cultural landscape.
