Test prints (or monoprints) are artifacts of the screen printing process. Used as gauges for opacity or registration these pieces of paper gradually build up overlapping imagery from a number of different designs and end up beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Mistake Factory will feature an abundance of test prints from eleven prominent Chicago printers:
