Local co-operated design collective DOCK 6 is pleased to announce the 10th edition of its Design & Art Series occurring Saturday, June 3rd, 2PM–9PM.
Hosted at their sprawling Austin/Belmont-Cragin neighborhood headquarters, the entire studio will be open to the public, filled with local art and original designs ranging from custom metal and woodworking to functional objects, sculptures, and select work from professional artists working throughout Chicago. This wildly popular design & art showcase first premiered in 2010 (beginning as a semi-annual), and has since invited hundreds of artists, designers and curators to create fascinating, diverse shows of contemporary art and design pieces installed amongst the tools and machinery throughout the raw, working studio space. The event is free and open to the public.
