Explore Impressions of a City: Drawings by Marvin Young with an evening of conversation and making.
5–8 pm – Drop-in artmaking and Happy Hour in CLEO
Make a large-scale drawing one small piece at a time.
Experiment with Marvin Young’s paper construction technique by piecing together small sheets of paper to make your own large-scale drawing. Start your project at IAM, then take it with you to continue working wherever you go. No drawing experience needed.
6 pm – Curator tour with Christina Stavros
6:30 pm – Slow Look
Immerse yourself in one of Marvin Young’s drawings during a guided 45- minute session of mindful looking.
Free with Museum admission and for IAM Members. Registration is encouraged.
