Thorne Brandt (DAD) is a weathered software engineer, VR developer, game designer, and new media performance artist who as exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Haggarty Museum, Berlin, and Art Basel. Thorne received his B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute in 2007 with an emphasis in New Media. Brandt’s work is centered around play, the construction of rules to create a game or microcosm, an observation of the metaphysics of inhabiting free will. Past works have included an online collaborative drawing-based exquisite corpse chatroom (exquisitechat.org), an underground fluxus league of an emergent midnight dodgeball game, and a competition that turned art critiques into competitive, high-risk elimination rounds. Thorne directs Digital Art Demo Space in the hope that it can provide a venue for audio-visual experiments and game development & playtesting. His latest focus is writing software to build instruments that produce sublime interactive synesthesia.

Tettai is a music producer and composer who places an emphasis on emotion, anime scenery, and lush melodies. Working within the electronic dance music industry through multiple positions, the Chicago resident has now formed Euphor Collective – a family of music producers with an emphasis on Otaku culture the Japanese electronic music scene. He strives to promote and unite the music and art circles behind anime conventions and online communities.
