Event Description:
Join us on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM for IN OUR IMAGE: Every Day is Juneteenth — a free, outdoor celebration of Black memory, beauty, and joy on Chicago’s South Side.
Held at South Side Sanctuary (4702 S King Dr), this gathering features food, music, art, and intergenerational creative offerings designed to honor our collective legacy and freedom.
Offerings include:
• Sounds by DJ Leah Damte @dxmte.leah
• Face paint by Jhanee @jhanee.wya
• Community photo portraits by Han @han.oncam
• Tooth gems by Iced Off @icedoff
• Caricatures by Kennedy Free @kennedyfree_
This event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome. Come as you are — and bring your people!
