**Artist Statement**
Growing up in Chicago, my journey as an artist has been shaped by the city’s vibrant energy and diverse culture. As a Latino, I infuse my oil paintings with my experiences and heritage.
The city’s neighborhoods serve as my canvas, capturing the interplay between motion and moments of stillness. My art reflects a dialogue between the physical and metaphysical, drawing inspiration from my environment. The colors and textures in my work embody the passion and resilience of my Latino heritage, exploring identity, faith, and meaning.
I create visual narratives that resonate with viewers, whether depicting complex concepts or tranquil moments. My art invites a sense of shared humanity and spiritual connection.
Through my work, I aim to honor the influences that have shaped me and offer insight into the relationship between culture, spirituality, and personal journey.
