Roundabout consists of a series of screenings in which VDB invites a partner archive to collaborate on a conversational program of short experimental works, prompting them to respond to a selection of works from VDB’s collection with a selection from their own.
Associação Cultural Videobrasil, founded by Solange O. Farkas, preserves, researches and promotes video art and contemporary art from the Geopolitical South. For 40 years, it has been working systematically, building up an extensive archive and activating it through multiple exhibitions, free programs, and the production of books, and building international networks of artists and institutions.
