Please join us in welcoming our next live artist, Lily Schumacher! She will be having her live painting session this coming Thursday, February 10th, from 6PM — 9PM!
Lily Schumacher is a Chicago-based artist and current student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her practice revolves around the world of sports and how it can exist within a fine arts’ context, exploring topics ranging from the athletes themselves to the statistics of the game. Sports also connects her to her home state of Wisconsin, and the importance that sports and its culture has in her hometown of Green Bay. Schumacher hopes to use her practice and passion to explore the relationship between art and sports, and how they can interact with one another.
