Scaped is an exhibition striving to investigate ideas of structure, space, place, and the temporal through six installations by Brent Fogt, the creative duo Luftwerk, Dan Hojnacki, Kate McQuillen, Neha Vedpathak, and Kim Harty. Each exhibitor was given a curatorial framework that provided one rule—to create an immersive installation, almost totally devoid of color. This monochromatic paradigm acted as a catalyst for a large-scale exploration into the stark side of environment reconfigured and reimagined to expose an artistic ecosystem through material and form. This group of installations not only function as singular immersive works, but in tandem, they offer an audience the ability to explore symbiosis that brings out a visceral context in which landscape and environment can literally be experienced in their many forms.
