Peace Has No Home: Posters for Ukraine: Closing Reception
@ Public Works
2141 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60647
Opening Friday, November 17th, from 7PM - 11PM
On view through Saturday, November 18th
Peace Has No Home: Posters for Ukraine comes to a close mid November, yet the war in Ukraine continues. The exhibition features powerful graphic works from international artists. Join us as we celebrate this gesture of solidarity with a night of reflection and community.
Musician Lia Kohl presents a contemplative performance for cello and electronics.
We could have never imagined another war would break out during the run of this exhibition. Our hearts are with those in Palestine and Israel, and, of course, those still suffering in Ukraine. While it’s so easy to feel helpless amidst all the tragedy, let’s remember strength of collective action and the resonant power of creative expression.
