New Editions: Into the FLXST

FLXST Contemporary marks its opening in the Chicago arts landscape in its new space in the historic Motor Row district of the South Loop with its first group show titled “New Editions: Into the FLXST.”
FLXST Contemporary worked closely with ten artists, some based in Chicago while others based across the US, to create limited edition prints of their work. All prints will be on display at the opening reception, and FLXST will offer them for sale through the gallery and on its website.

* 30% of the proceeds from the limited edition prints by Laura Kina will go to the nonprofit Equality Illinois (www.equalityillinois.us) to support its policy work for more LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming legislation in the state of Illinois.

WHERE: FLXST Contemporary, 2251 S. Michigan Avenue, Suite 220. Search for FLXST on the intercom, and you will be buzzed in. The space is two blocks away from the green line stop 23rd/Cermak. Street parking is available.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Viewing of fantastic artwork in the company of art lovers. Hors d’oeuvres, bubbly, and alt-beverages.
FLXST Contemporary is a contemporary fine arts and photography gallery and an arts incubator. It represents works by emerging and mid-career artists, providing essential resources and support for the creation of new artwork in all artistic media. FLXST Contemporary is particularly keen on working and collaborating with artists from historically underrepresented communities in the arts and with nonprofit organizations to expand art programming across Chicagoland.
