The Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, Department of Art History, and Museum and Exhibition Studies at UIC invite you to wind down the year with a celebration of A People’s Art History of the United States. This new book looks at the activist art that has emerged from and documented US movements for social and economic justice, including labor, women’s suffrage, artist’s unions, civil rights, nuclear disarmament, and more.
Join us to meet the author, hear about this exciting new book, enjoy examples of radical art and interventions, drink warm apple cider, and eat delicious cookies!
