Opening Friday, November 13th, from 5PM - 9PM

Open Studios at the UIC School of Art will take place across all five floors of our building plus its basement. The evening will begin with a welcome reception and tour in UIC Gallery 400 of the current exhibition “Press & Pull: A Legacy of the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop.”

Students, families, artists, and community members will then be invited to explore the building and see both in-progress and completed works by students from our MFA, BFA, Art Education, and Interdisciplinary Education in the Arts (IDEA) programs. Learn about the artists’ research, practices, and experiences studying at our interdisciplinary School of Art. Come on by, all are welcome!
