As South Shore Arts Fall Exhibition Still Crazy: 40 Years of the Crazy IN Style Artists draws to a close, we invite you to join us on Saturday November 14 for an Artist panel and closing reception. The artist panel discussion will begin at 3:00pm followed by the closing reception from 4:15 to 6:00pm.
Still Crazy: 40 Years of the Crazy IN Style Artists celebrates four decades of this remarkable history and the collective’s enduring impact on contemporary art, public space, and cultural life. Curated by founding members Ishmael “Ish” Muhammad Nieves and Felix “Flex” Maldonado Jr., the exhibition brings together more than forty works spanning graffiti, painting, photography, fashion, music, and installation, alongside eight murals created specifically for this exhibition. More than a retrospective, this exhibition traces a movement that never stopped evolving; one that carried the language of the street into galleries without losing its edge. The result is a portrait of artists who refused to wait for recognition, choosing instead to create it themselves, one wall, one mural, and one generation at a time.
The reception will feature live music, light bites, cash bar, and other refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.
