Join us in the Swedish American Museum’s Wallenberg Gallery (located on the second floor) to learn more about the temporary exhibition, “The Hellstroms of Melrose Street c. 1915”, with the exhibit’s curator and fourth-generation Swedish-American artist, Thomas Hellstrom. Drawing from his Great Aunt Delores Olsen’s meticulously annotated photo albums, the exhibition features candid and engaging photographs – including early “selfies” – of Delores, her brother Harlow Hellstrom, and their father Victor, who emigrated from Stockholm in the 1890s. Don’t miss out on this chance to experience this special exhibition with enriching insights from the artist!
