Poke a Hole brings together the work of Phoebe Guyuzi Chen, Spencer Grogan, Blake Glos, and Daniel Tseng. Beginning with a simple architectural fact: an opening between two rooms in a home-studio, the exhibition takes this opening as a way of seeing.

Working across sculpture, installation, painting, and material experimentation, the four artists each inhabit the overlapping condition of living and making. Rather than treating the home-studio as a neutral site, Poke a Hole approaches it as a condition where the artist is never only an artist, but where multiple roles, responsibilities, and identities continually overlap.
