Leticia Pardo and Deanna Ledezma (SAIC, University of Chicago) will be in conversation about the process of making Carcasa (109 E Ontario St). Pardo’s current Arts Club Garden Project gives attention to the legacy of Mexican labor in Chicago’s built environment through a 1:1 scale rebar reproduction of The Arts Club’s Mies van der Rohe staircase. Join us for an intimate evening of readings and conversation around Latinx labor and art in the US.
