Workshop description:
In the penultimate iteration of Comfort Station’s Soapbox 2024 Soapbox series, multi-disciplinary artist Kai Movagh presents a riff on the concept of mutability in his workshop of Dum Tek: course crashing the basics of Arabic rhythms.

Artist bio: Kai Samih Movagh is a musician and visual artist from the Chicago area whose primary instrument is drums and percussion. Kai has experience playing in a diverse area of musical acts of different genres including jazz, rock, r&b, metal, and folk music from the SWANA region.
