The debut Chicago solo exhibition of paintings by Lucca Colombelli; ๐˜Š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ ๐˜Ž๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ examines light as truth and gallery as ecosystem. Landscape-inspired oil paintings are complimented by an installation piece by Irish-born Chicago artist Maeve McGale.

Together, Colombelli and McGale establish a “Common Ground”, prompting viewers to contemplate their place within the natural world and the constructed environments they inhabit. This query is further enhanced by the tension between the industrial space and the installation.
