Humans are rarely so articulate and poignant as when they have survived massive struggle, be it exile, displacement or the struggle to exist in a nation of constant turmoil. The Museum of Contemporary Photography’s newest exhibition, “Survival Techniques: Narratives of Resistance” explores this theme, bringing in artists from around the world to discuss their experiences living through political uncertainty and social unrest, and commenting on the one thing shared by them all:  survival.
