To accompany the short film, Jupiter Magazine and Robert Blackburn Printmaking Studio have produced a limited run of zines to trace the film into the physical world. The zine contains a bibliographical section citing key works, behind-the scene images, and essays and blurbs by Bridgett M. Davis, Maya S. Cade, Legacy Russell, Amandine Nana, and Olukemi Lijadu. The zine is printed in a limited edition of 500.

To celebrate the zine launch & premiere, Tala will be re-simulating the spatial and sonic atmosphere of β€˜It’s Just a Fucking Opening’ for a live set by Blesstonio (who stars as the DJ in the film) and surprise performance. Zines will be available to purchase on site. RSVP link
