@ Chicago Art Department

1926 S Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60608

Opening Sunday, September 21st, from 1PM - 2PM

On view through Sunday, September 21st

CHICAGO, IL — Join collector Luis Cubillos & artist Moises Salazar Tlatenchi for an illuminating conversation on the power of supportive relationships in Chicago’s art eco-system.

How do new collectors meaningfully connect with artists and galleries? How do emerging artists cultivate networks that sustain their practices? And how do both artists and collectors navigate these relationships—particularly within a Latine context?

As part of Elle Art Consulting’s Luminara Art Circle, artist Moises Salazar Tlatenchi and collector Luis Cubillos will reflect on their working relationship and the ways they have built authentic trust, mutual respect, and continuous support. Together, they will share perspectives on what it means to participate in an art world as counterparts whose roles are deeply interconnected.

This conversation welcomes collectors, artists, and art enthusiasts alike to consider what supportive relationships can look like and to imagine how intentional connections can shape interconnected and sustainable art kinships.
