Fresh off the opening of Dorian Sylvain’s incredible solo show, Raised In It!, we’re excited to announce the fifth “listening” in our Sonorous Somatics series, curated by @bsa.gold:

Sonorous Somatics 005 is in dynamic dialogue with the themes of Dorian’s exhibition.

Vocalist Sparklmami and BSA Gold reach for worlds beyond through loop pedals, electronics, flute, and voice. The performance will include samples of the music of Alice Coltrane as a meditation on exhibition artist Dorian Sylvain, Alice Coltrane herself, and dynamic women in the arts space raising children and their communities.
