Unscripted Streets
@ T. Mari Gallery
1023 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
Opening Saturday, July 12th, from 6PM - 9PM
On view through Sunday, August 3rd
Unscripted Street is a group exhibition celebrating the raw, unfiltered beauty of street photography. Featuring powerful black-and-white works by Mame Cheikh Mbaye, Kirill Polevoy, Néstor Zumaya, and Francisco Malavé, the show captures candid moments of public life from Dakar to Chicago.
Each image is a spontaneous composition, a glimpse into the rhythm of everyday life. From bustling city streets to quiet gestures, these photographs explore human presence, movement, and emotion across cultures and continents. The monochrome format heightens contrast and intimacy, inviting viewers to see with greater clarity, focus, and feeling.
Join us for the opening night on Friday, July 12, from 6-9pm and witness the poetry of the streets through the eyes of four distinct and powerful voices in contemporary photography.
