Naomi Elson and Rebecca Griffith work interdisciplinarily from their collections of reclaimed items. Both artists obsessively collect their respective materials, such as textiles, packaging, and found objects. Their practices blur the boundaries between art, craft, and design, transforming the sometimes overlooked and unwanted into narratives that explore memory, consumption, and identity.
Left to Settle explores the slow accumulation of objects, memories, and meaning. Working across mediums, both artists build from collections of reclaimed and domestic materials—things once discarded, passed down, or simply left behind. Their practices blur the boundaries between art, craft, and design, transforming the overlooked into layered narratives about memory, consumption, identity, and care.
