Have you ever wondered what it’s like at your local independent film archive? Now is your chance to find out! Chicago Film Archives is hosting another edition of our quarterly open house.

This is a casual affair. Drop by to chat about film, see what the film scanners look like, watch a 16mm film projected on the wall, and maybe even see our cold storage vault.

The collective of vintage furniture dealers who are fellow tenants in our building will also be hosting a big open house on June 29, so we recommend that you make an afternoon of it!

WHEN: Sunday, June 29 from 1pm to 4:30pm

WHERE: 329 W 18th St, Suite 610 (sixth floor)

PARKING: there’s a free lot about a block away
