Artist Walk with Alex Wolfe
@ Washington/Wabash
29 N Wabash Ave Chicago, IL 60602
Opening Saturday, June 21st, from 12PM - 2PM
On June 21st, 2025, from 12:00pm-2:00pm, our June Artist in Residence Alex Wolfe will lead a sensory walk titled Noticing: The Loop, continuing the ongoing Noticing series previously held in New York. This guided walk through the Loop invites participants to slow down, observe, and engage with the textures, rhythms, and overlooked details of the Loop’s built and lived environments.
The walk will begin at Washington and Wabash and will proceed rain or shine. The anticipated length of this walk is 1 mile and a map will be sent out ahead of the event date. This encourages participants to attune to the city’s shifting atmospheres and interruptions. In case of severe weather, participants will meet at the Chicago Cultural Center nearby.
Please plan to arrive between 11:50 am-12:00pm to get settled before we begin.
Accessibility notes: This artist walk has mobility requirements. The meeting spot has an accessible train station with a working elevator. This area of the loop typically has clear sidewalks and clear signage. If your accessibility concerns have not been addressed in this note or on the accessibility page on our website, please make use of the accessibility accommodation in our signup form or reach out directly to colleen@latitudechicago.org for more information.
