In our current political climate, it’s more important than ever for artists, administrators, and community members to work together to promote sustainability. Join us for a panel discussion on how sustainability affects the art community both locally and nationally, and why it’s so important for artists and art administrators to view their work with an environmental lens.
Paige Roth: Paige Roth is the Director of Volunteer & Community Programs for REVERB, an environmental nonprofit based in Maine that works to make live music more sustainable while engaging fans to take action for people and the planet.

Sam Lewis II: Sam Lewis II is the Director of Engagement and Artist Programs for the Hyde Park Jazz Festival, a collaborative platform dedicated to supporting the presentation and ongoing development of jazz, particularly on the South Side of Chicago.

Cody Norman: Cody Norman is a Chicago based artist, educator, and designer whose work is focused upon both digital and analog fabrication to transform recycled and bio plastics into functional art objects.

Barbara Koenen: Barbara Koenen is considered “an artist and a bureaucrat” and has dedicated her entire career to supporting and advocating for artists and finding or creating opportunities for arts programming (SAIC). She is the Executive Director of Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange.
