ABEEKU is the latest facet of the vast artistic expression of composer and performer David Boykin. Its a combination of electro soul, golden era hip hop production, and spiritual jazz into a sensuous blend of Afro-electronic bliss; utilizing vocals, synthesizers, digital samplers, electronic drums, key boards, and bass.
The lineup features Adam Zanolini on bass; Crai’Sean George on Keyboards; and David Boykin on Drum Machines, Digital Samplers, Synthesizer, Saxophone, and Vocals.
Singer and songwriter Sylvia Christine is a South Side Chicago artist whose roots in music run deep. A born performer, she found her rhythm early—singing in musicals and drumming in a bucket band by third grade. Guided by a passion for healing and connection, her music invites listeners into a joyful, soul-stirring space where love is the frequency and everyone’s voice matters.
