Chicago Printers Guild Annual Publishers Fair
On Saturday, October 21 the Chicago Printers Guild will hold its 5th annual Publishers Fair at Co-Prosperity (3219 S. Morgan St.) in Bridgeport, the home of Printers Row and typeface Cooper Black. The print market features over 30 local printmakers sharing their self-published posters, zines, shirts, tote bags, and more. All for print and print for all!
Live printmaking presented by Instituto Grafico de Chicago and rare access printing presses including a Risograph and Etching Press will be on hand for visitors to engage with. This is a great opportunity to discover something new or meet the person behind something you already enjoy and come away with art in your heart and your hands. The energy is high to celebrate this craft synonymous with Chicago. Please join us!
The Publishers Fair is the culminating event of a month-long print festival that includes printmaking workshops, live music and readings, and a record swap. All events are free and open to the public. All are welcome.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available. Masks encouraged. All-gender bathroom on site. Wheelchair accessible.
