Often when artists look at their earlier artworks, they consider how it might be recreated today. There is so much learned in time through dedicated art practices. It is hard to measure, yet as artists, we know it intuitively when we see the changes in our approaches. We find the comfort in “making”, where in the beginning, there may have been insecurity. Time, knowledge and practice have changed how artists work, how tools are used and how materials are approached. Time shows how art is a learned language. In this exhibition, REDUX, artists will expose the before and after of a specific piece.
