Latin Grammy Artist Ely Guerra returns to the Sor Juana Festival after almost 13 years. While the NMMA has presented Ely at venues like The Hot House, House of Blues, and Navy Pier, this will mark the first time ever she will perform at the museum for an intimate acoustic concert that will cover the span of her 30 + year artistic career.
Ely Guerra es una cantautora y productora musical mexicana con 30 años de carrera, ganadora del Grammy Latino al Mejor Álbum Alternativo 2010, y empresaria por más de 18 años desde Homey Company. Se ha presentado en escenarios por todo el mundo. Ely ha trabajado –a lo largo de los años– con diferentes artistas como Tania Libertad, Los Tigres del Norte, Pepe Aguilar, Juan Gabriel, Julieta Venegas, entre otros.
En este 2023 Ely celebra 30 años de música y lo hace a voz y guitarra, donde invita a Camilo Froideval, para realizar un recorrido acústico por sus canciones más emblemáticas.
