Links Hall presents 96 HOURS, a pop-up festival on September 12 & 13, 2020. This experimental event pairs artists, technicians, and designers of various disciplines–from puppeteers to performance artists, dancers to devised theater makers–and challenges them to create an original, virtual work in a mere 96 hours.
Beginning September 8, three teams (composed of three artists plus a technician) will be handed the prompt “Transformation and Exchange” and a list of ingredients which must appear in their work. Ingredients may include: objects, text, formats, themes, or miscellaneous elements to spark the imagination. Together, each group will devise, rehearse, and tech an original piece, 20-45 minutes in length. Once the 96th hour is complete, audiences will be invited to witness the livestream results of this time-sensitive, theme-limited, organized chaos.
1pm show, Team A-
Ayako Kato (dancemaker & improviser)
Spence Warren (filmmaker, musician, & puppeteer)
Nora Sharp (dancemaker & storyteller)
3pm show, Team B-
Dawn Xiana Moon (fire spinner, belly dancer & singer-songwriter)
Lia Kohl (cellist & multi-disciplinary artist)
D3won (hip hop artist & producer)
5pm show, Team C-

Erica Rene (Opera, Gospel, R&B songstress)

Ticket holders will receive a livestream link 24-48 hours before the performance. There will be an encore broadcast performance of the entire festival lineup on Sunday, September 13th @5pm and an artist Q&A to follow @7:30.
Ticket prices- $12 per show, $30 festival pass
