As part of Art Design Chicago, the University of Chicago Graham School and the Terra Foundation present an Art Speaks lecture with Lynne Warren in the Commons at the MCA. The talk touches on many aspects of Chicago’s artistic development: the tensions between emerging artists and the institutional establishment; the tensions between the anointed style and artists looking toward larger art world concerns; and especially the tensions between regionalism and the larger art world.

**Programs in the Commons are always free; access to the galleries requires museum admission**
