CURATORS CREATE presents work by artists who currently serve (or have served in the past) as curators at a major art center, gallery, museum, college, university, or other exhibition venue. The process of selecting the artist/curators for this exhibit has shown that there are many artist/curators in this region who could be part of such a show in addition to the ten whose work is represented in this exhibit. CURATORS CREATE could become a biennial event at BRIDGEPORT ART CENTER.
Each of the artists in this exhibit is serving, or has served, as curator at an arts center, gallery, museum, or college/university, including:

The public is invited to meet and dialogue with some of the most influential members of Chicago’s art community in what is sure to be a thrilling exhibit. The opening reception is scheduled for Friday, May 19TH from 7 – 10 PM. Entry is free and complimentary wine and refreshments are served. Upon arrival, guests can park in the North Lot and enter using the NORTH ENTRANCE.
