Please join us Tuesday, June 24th at 7pm for an artist talk by Mindy Rose Schwartz. This is the sixth installation of the Lillstreet Artists Lecture Series.
Mindy Rose Schwartz is a sculptor living in Chicago. She has shown work in TX, NY, MO, FL, CA, MA and IL. She has had solo exhibitions at QT, New Capital, threewalls, and Old Gold Galleries in Chicago and group shows at the Spertus Museum, Renaissance Society and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions. In 2011 she was named for best solo show by New City magazine and in 2012 received a Helen Coburn Meier and Tim Meier Charitable Foundation for the Arts award. She currently teaches for the Sculpture department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

The Lillstreet Art Center is proud to offer a second year of the Lillstreet Artists Lecture Series. Local emerging and mid-career artists, critics, and curators are invited to give 45 minute presentations on their work in the Lillstreet Loft, located down the street from the art center at 4437 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago IL. The Lillstreet Artists Lecture Series is the curatorial project of Gwendolyn Zabicki. All lectures are free and open to the public.
