Dec 18th 2010

Get your boots on, it’s time for threewalls annual Holiday Ball, and this year we are excited to hand over the reigns to Academy Records for a holiday variety show! Please join us December 18th for an evening of entertainment, yuletide merriment, and White Christmas-ing as threewalls is transformed into the Columbia Inn from Michael Curtiz’s great holiday classic White Christmas.

Chicago entertainers will run through a dystopic and disparate reading of those Irving Berlin tunes featured in the movie. Featuring: Academy Records; Mrs. Hound; Weeping Eye, Laughing Eye; Turnip Pickle, featuring: Fred Lonberg-Holm, Elba Mini-Pro, Captain One and Gordon Comstock; Mark Jeffrey and Judd Morrisey; Dan “Son of Bing” Gleason, plus a host of others. Close out the night with DJ Mr. Wiggles.

Post War Blues? Neighborly help? The Blind Set-up? Choreography? Anorexia? It’s all fun and games in this Christmas classic re-envisioned by Academy Records. 1940’s style supper-club-holiday-party-garb preferred.
