Natasha Florentino: Artist Talk

@ National Public Housing Museum

Online

Opening Thursday, December 5th, from 6PM - 7:30PM

Meet our new Artist as Instigator Natasha Florentino, a documentary filmmaker exposing the roots and consequences of housing injustice.

Join us virtually as Natasha shares her past work and her plans for her 2024-2025 Artist as Instigator residency, including ways you can get involved, and support the national fight for public housing.

Natasha is a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and video producer whose practice involves deep research, community engagement, and a sustained commitment to revealing the power dynamics behind displacement. Natasha is currently producing a new documentary film that follows current residents who oppose the proposed demolition of two NYCHA public housing developments in Chelsea, Manhattan (the Fulton and Elliott-Chelsea Houses).

This program will happen virtually on Zoom and will be recorded. Please register to receive the event link, to be notified when the video is available, or to receive future updates.
