May 6th 2023

Families with children ages 6 and younger are invited to explore our museum and take over the art studio! Together, we will learn how to talk about art — focusing on color, patterns, and shapes found in nature, inspired by works featured in the Los huecos del agua: Recent Indigenous Art from Mexico exhibition. Afterward, we will create our own canvas wall hangings using oil pastels and liquid watercolors. $20 suggested donation includes all materials needed. Spaces are limited. Must register before the date of workshop by emailing angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org.
