Renowned theoretical physicist Michio Kaku, along with other scientists, has been on a quest for a “theory of everything”: the merging of relativity and quantum theory to create one equation including all forces and rules of nature. In his new book “The God Equation,” Kaku explores the history of and debate surrounding a unifying theory of everything and the equation’s potential to unlock as-of-yet unresolved mysteries of the universe. Join Chicago Humanities Festival, Kaku, and actor LeVar Burton (Star Trek) for a conversation about the cosmos and the next scientific frontier.
