Part of the Meeting at a Distance series
Join curator, writer, and contemporary art critic Stephanie Cristello for a discussion examining six artworks that lend a perspective to author Italo Calvino’s “Six Memos for the Next Millennium,” a series of poetry lectures that communicate the values of literature Calvino felt were important for the coming millennium. Each work will be framed in response to our current moment, and propose their own memos for the time that will follow. After the talk, members will have the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the discussion.
