Peace Garden Dedication
@ Illinois Holocaust Museum
9603 Woods Drive Skokie, IL 6007
Opening Tuesday, August 27th, from 6PM - 8PM
The Peace Garden welcomes visitors and creates a sanctuary for reflection before or after visiting the Museum. With a diversity of plantings and inspirational quotes, the Peace Garden is an inviting and educational space for visitors to process new ideas and perspectives. Please join us as we dedicate this space with a ribbon cutting and a special performance by Keeping Faith: Sisters of Story.
The Sisters of Story are Muslim, Christian and Jewish storytellers who build a solidarity between religions and a sense of unity across faiths, demonstrating the inherent commonalities among people.
Free with Museum admission. Free for Members.
Community Partners: Bahá’í House of Worship, Jewish Neighborhood Development Council, Skokie Park District
