Humanities Day 2018
@ University of Chicago, Division of the Humanities
1115 E 58th St, Chicago, IL 60637
Opening Saturday, October 20th, from 9:30AM - 4:30PM
Humanities Day, an annual tradition at the University of Chicago since 1980, celebrates the humanities with free discussions, tours, performances, and lectures featuring the latest research of our award-winning faculty in the Division of the Humanities.
Humanities Day 2018 will feature more than 30 presentations by over 40 different presenters. Divided into three sessions throughout the day plus a keynote address, this year’s event promises to have something to engage your intellect.
The programming of the event reflects the intellectual variety among the 200+ faculty members and the nearly 800 graduate students within the Division’s 20+ academic departments, institutes, centers, and programs.
Visit humanitiesday.uchicago.edu for full descriptions of each presentation and to register. Registration opens August 15.
