Doors open at 6:00 pm, Program begins at 7:00 pm. With over $180,000 in grant money awarded to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority and trainings being conducted at UIC and at Mosques and community centers across the city, Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) programs remain an active destructive and expansive anti-Muslim government surveillance and informant program. Join FTP’s Hoda Katebi for a teach-in on CVE and its context within the broader War on Terror and military -police complex.
