LVL3 is proud to present Wasteland Dream, a group show featuring Jeffly Gabriela Molina, Curtis Stage, Matthew Schlagbaum, and Esther Ruiz. Molina’s interest in language brings her paintings to life through moments of poetic observation. Stage employs photography to unearth desolate spaces and allow for sudden moments of beauty to be revealed. Ruiz takes a formal approach to her material pairings, inventing new landscapes that blend both artificial and natural elements. Schlagbaum explores happiness as a form of social control that prescribes correct lifestyles, pursuits, and modes of being. Wasteland Dream brings four artists together for an unusual look into these creators’ minds and their uncharted spaces.
