PAPER ARTS explores one of the most inventive areas of contemporary art, presenting investigations of new materials, unique papers, and interdisciplinary approaches. Artists explore the seductive versatility and sculptural potential of the medium by cutting, folding, tearing, creasing, binding together, weaving, or otherwise transforming one of the oldest art materials, paper, to express ideas and emotions.

PAPER ARTS will run from March 17 – May 5, 2017 in the 4th Floor Gallery of the Bridgeport Art Center. Join us for the OPENING RECEPTION Friday, March 17th from 7 – 10 PM. Entry is free and complimentary wine is served. Upon arrival, guests can park for no charge in the North Lot and enter using the NORTH ENTRANCE.
