Please join Bad at Sports & ACRE for an evening with Guy Richards Smit, artist and creator of The Grossmalerman Show.
This screening will present the first 3 episodes of The Grossmalerman Show for your viewing pleasure. Following the screening, Smit will join Bad At Sport’s very own Duncan MacKenzie for a short question and answer session.
Screening will begin promptly at 7:30PM.

In this series of five episodes, all shot on a stage set in front of a live studio audience, the artist Jonathan Grossmalerman, a once successful painter in a serious career slump has been offered an exhibition at his dream gallery…but there’s a catch! He can’t show any of the incredibly explicit paintings that helped make his name. All that pressure would be enough to send any artist into a full-fledged creative crisis! But Grossmalerman still has to contend with the haunted Basquiat painting his girlfriend dragged home, his estranged eleven year old daughter who just moved in and a violent series of events that include but are not limited to, an assassin, a toxic romance, an inappropriate relationship, and a very angry collector.
