At Third Coast we’ve always said that audio is the most visual of mediums. So this year, in partnership with Manual Cinema – the film-inspired shadow puppetry collective – we launched a ShortDocs Challenge inviting everyone and anyone to create an audio story that delights the mind’s eye.

At the Radio Cinema Spectacular, Manual Cinema will debut a brand new work inspired by the winning ShortDocs, chosen from hundreds of incredible entries from around the world. Meet the producers, hear the stories behind their works, and watch the ShortDocs come to life on stage and screen.
